J.Shanelle's Purpose:

I can't fix everything. As a matter of fact, I probably can't fix anything. BUT, to instill joy and hope inside someone makes my life worth living. To say that I wish that no one could ever experience sadness, hurt or pain would be unrealistic- for such things are apart of ones strengthening process. However, I'd like to believe that my purpose of inspiration comes in the form of writings, poetry and speaking words of encouragement. The entire purpose of this site is for self-help, motivation and restoration. No one should ever have to go through any type of pain or hurt alone. Overall, I remember how it felt to go through certain situations feeling alone, lost, afraid, sad, confused, misunderstood and as if I didn't belong.  I'm well aware that there are many individuals that have experienced much more pain and tragedy than I could ever even begin to imagine. On the other hand, any level of pain can be torturous, if one feels that they are facing such situations alone.

The world is full of people who will judge, ridicule and point fingers at one another...Because of that, with every breath that's within me- I will spend the rest of my life restoring the joy in people that the hardness of this world has taken away.  In a world filled with so much hate and closed minded individuals; I would like to be a symbol of love/a calming place. There are still good people in the world. It is up to "us" to continue to show our faces, to allow people to see that we are still here.  

Even in the mist of such chaos; life and what a person is to life, can be such a beautiful and wonderful discovery.

 "Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead; I press on" - Philippians 3:13-14
